Here are a few shots of the kids around Easter. I know, Easter was a few weeks ago, but I also know pictures are fun to see. So here's Easter.

Raelynn was all about the candy, so the egg hunt was a little frantic for her. She's used to competing with her fast and furious cousins, so even though we had a smaller hunt with just the three, she tore around like her hair was on fire. Paige was pretty serious about dying eggs. She was also very serious about eating them. I love the ring and the wristband. How beautiful is it to be two and feel perfectly comfortable wearing a frilly dress and jewelry with a sweatband? Ah, the freedom.
Paige was all about the eggs. She sat down, opened and ate every last bit of candy, and then spent the next three weeks counting, collecting and carting those plastic eggs everywhere she went. I love her dress.
The hat saw some use . I mean, if you can't wear it on Easter, when can you? Mike certainly agreed.
Raelynn took her makeup outside, and Miles ended up looking like this. I guess it could have been worse, right?

Paige eating one of many eggs pre-Easter.
Paige looking for eggs--again, I just love that dress. She just floated.

So much for technology!

Thanks, Autumn for the link to this site and for the warm feeling I got upon hearing that my kids do look, at least partially, like me. No one in all her two and a half years has ever said that Paige looks even a little like me, and when people say Miles or Raelynn do, it's generally strangers who've never seen Mike. So while wholly incorrect, I still appreciate the idea. I might even frame these, you know, as proof. Hard evidence. Good times, Autumn, good times.

Life these days.

The kids have taken possession of our small camera, and have been busy taking pictures. Sadly, they all look like these. There are 4 of these.
Just 2 of shoes.
13--yes, 13--of these.
18 of various other lovies.

Some cars.Miles quickly realized that books are full of great pictures, and why not borrow? There must be 30 pictures from various books.

Leo is the subject of 9 photos, and clearly milks every minute in front of the camera. A cat to the core, isn't he?

Adorably, there are a number of these shots, Paige being something like a doll to the bigger two.

Less adorably, there are a couple of these . OK, enough with the kids and their photos.

Here's Paige on a typical afternoon. She refuses naps, and then crashes on the couch with the same utter abandon she approaches most activities with. Note the filthy face.
Now, frankly, I'm too busy these days to fight the stupid computer (and I maintain that it's the technology that's stupid--not me, right?) and blog more. I have picture of actual people I'll post soon. And by soon, I mean this year. Over and out.
